Installation & Activation Notes
Fine tuning the "pointing" of the satellite takes very small, precise adjustments - e.g. a supple touch.
Activating your service w/ DirecTV took less than 5 minutes on the phone (800-DIRECTV).
The Radio Shack "Double Bow" antenna ($18) is strongly recommended to receive local HD broadcasts over UHF.
If you are using a UHF antenna, like the keen Double Bow, you may also need a "75 ohm -> 300 ohm adapter" ($4), and an additional coaxial cable.
